the climb

Again and again, at every turn, at every corner, all the way along this climb to the peak of my potential, I hear that it's all about the climb. Success is a journey they say, not really the destination. It's the climb Hannah croons, easy for her to say that from way up on her summit. So is it the climb that matters as I push towards the top? Is it really the journey that's more important as I head towards my destination of success? Maybe it is. So here's to enjoying journeys, to living in the present, even if we have the future in mind. Here's to taking time to appreciate the view, at whatever height. The breathtaking view may be from the top, but the fun stuff is along the way.
