The Joy of Writing

it's been a long time since i wrote, maybe because i couldn't find my half a dozen blogs i started. it's a jungle out here on the internet. or maybe because i have heaps of other work to do. "real" work that crowds out fun work like writing. but here and now, away from everything i have and need to do, i turn back to the solace of writing. i'm away not by choice and not entirely by chance either. it's a choice i had to make considering the turn of events. but anyway, it's good, that i get to read and write. the very basic of skills we teach our young, the measure of intelligence, and yet, how often do we indulge in this comforting, stimulating pleasure. so go on, try reading for fun. seriously,a good book CAN be more fun than the movie version...
